This is basically a log of stuff I want. Or have bought. Each day I bring you the one thing that’s top of my shopping list. Or pinned on my Pinterest lust-list. Or screen-shotted every two minutes on Instagram. From the cutest new kids clothes to cute fashion buys and all the accessories and kids kit in between…

Smythson 2023 Soho Diary in Panama, £180
If your brain functions in a slightly atypical way (chaos reigns in mine), writing things down and making lists is the only way to function. Phone calendars simply don’t cut it – I need space to scribble outside the lines and to refer to all my mad notes in one place. Smythson’s diaries are the absolute best, but eye-wateringly expensive. Add to your Christmas list or opt for a second-hand Filofax on eBay (my vintage fuchsia one comes everywhere with me).

& Other Stories faux leather tie-detail rain hat in burgundy, £35
I have so many winter coats I love with no hood – enter the rain hat. I LOVE this & Other Stories rain hat, but just debating how well it will go with my array of colourful coats. It’s in my ASOS basket…

NARS Eyeliner Stylo, £22
I am not an ‘eyes’ person, I am a ‘lips’ person. But seeing as lips are tucked away behind face masks for the foreseeable and avoiding smudges is impossible, I’ve reverted to a classic feline flick if and when I ever venture outside.

Hush Pearl Ring Earrings, £60
Since lockdown started I’ve completely shifted all focus from my clothes to my earrings. Is this because it’s the only thing visible on the endless Facetimes and Zoom meetings? Possibly. These Hush pearl hoops are currently top of my lust list.

Scavi & Ray Non-Alcoholic Prosecco, £8.99
One of the more miserable things about being pregnant and breastfeeding for months or years on end is that you can’t drink anything. This is particularly stressful if you have another small child around driving you to the bottle. Given that I’m neither pregnant nor breastfeeding, my medicinal glass of red is very much still on the agenda, but when I have expectant mum-friends over, it’s nice to have something to offer them to drink that isn’t Robinson’s. Scavi & Ray’s non-alcoholic Prosecco is so good it passes for the real thing. And NO hangovers (or drunk un-borns) in sight. Hoorah.

Benefit Hoola Lite, £24.50
If you’re missing the summer sun (I’m cold, are you cold?) and the golden glow that goes with it, a little bronzer is the quickest complexion pick-me-up. I love pretty much all of Benefit’s box blushers and bronzers, but Hoola Lite has become a favourite this year, as it’s the perfect tone for my skin.

This plumping serum from Vichy is nicely affordable as a skincare treat at £22, and the cooling gel-like formula is instantly absorbed, making the perfect pre-makeup complexion pick-me-up. Love this product.

The best quick-fix cleanser for days when you just want to roll straight into bed. So, every day then. Gets rid of all makeup, dirt (and second-hand snot).
